However, this wine is actually produced by 19 Crimes in Australia, according to the bottle label.
The label even says Wine of Australia.
I was a bit surprised by this, having recently tasted Snoop Dogg 19 Crimes Cali Red, from California.
That wine was my first experience with 19 Crimes, so now I know!

Vinification Of The 19 Crimes Cabernet Sauvignon
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are only harvested for this red wine at optimum ripeness. Once in the wine cellar, the berries are destemmed, gently pressed and traditionally fermented on the mash. After the fermentation process is complete, this wine is aged in American oak barrels. Before this red wine releases the winery, it is allowed to round off something harmoniously on the bottle
Is 19 Crimes Cabernet Sauvignon A Good Wine
Overall, I think 19 Crimes Cabernet Sauvignon is a good sipping wine with a fun story.
Its somewhat light, almost like a Pinot Noir, and has a bit of sweetness like from a blend that might include Zinfandel.
Though I was unable to find out if this wine was straight Cabernet or not, I suspect it wasnt.
From my experience, I suspect this wine may also have some Zinfandel, Merlot and/or Petite Syrah in it.
But, I dont know for sure.
With that said, I believe most people would enjoy it and I did, as well.
Plus, its a decent under $10 value.

One thing that 19 Crimes is known for, is their bottle labels.
They often depict criminals from long time ago and tell their story on the back bottle label.
Also, 19 Crimes labels are talking labels.

But, Im sure youre smart enough to realize that, right?

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Shiraz showcase the best grapes of Australia, and luscious, dark wine. This particular variation is aged in rum barrels for 30 days, giving the wine a sticky sweetness on the finish, and lovely vanilla aromas.

As 19 Crimes’ third red blend, the Cali Red blend is perhaps the most unique. Once again, it features none other than California rapper and megastar Snoop Dogg. The wine is a blend of petite sirah, zinfandel, and merlot grapes, hailing from Lodi, California.
Honest Wine Reviews describes the wine as a “nicely balanced red blend, with notes of black cherry, vanilla, and candied raspberry.” There’s some residual sugar that manifests as sweetness on the tongue. It’s clear that 19 crimes wanted to make an enjoyable red wine that pairs well with food. It’s a simple wine but it has just enough interesting qualities several distinct fruit notes, smooth tannins, some acid to make you take another sip.
