Perrier Jout Nv Grand Brut
In 1856, Perrier-Jouët became the first Champagne house to create dry Champagne. This idea resulted in them making their famous “brut”type of Champagne known today all over France and abroad.
This famous French wine has been crafted from carefully chosen vineyards across the country to ensure that it displays both quality and diversity. The blend features 50 different crus or portions that represent their winemaking tradition.
The first sip of this sparkling wine is full-bodied with elegance. The palate starts as beautifully structured, balanced, and round. Then, it develops into notes of buttery brioche alongside hints of vanilla on the finish which lingers pleasantly long.
How To Drink Ace Of Spades
The Cattier Champagne house recommends a serving temperature of 6-8 centigrade. This can be achieved by placing the bottle in the refrigerator overnight or place in an ice bucket for half an hour before opening.
Use a flute or tulip-shaped glass and ensure that it is no more than two-thirds full.
Make sure that the glass is completely clean with no trace of washing-up products as this will cause the Champagne to lose its effervescence.
Follow the correct etiquette recommended by the Cattier experts by performing the following steps:
Start by looking at the Champagne, then bring the flute up to your nose and breathe in slowly to perceive the scents and aromas.
Finally. take a sip and keep it in your mouth for a few moments to discover the Champagnes personality.
Pommery Cuve Louise Brut Champagne 2004

This vintage Champagne is crafted from approximately 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir sourced from Avize, Ay, and Cramant, which are all Grand Cru. These plots are for only the most select cuvées, meaning they’re worlds away in quality from what you’ll find elsewhere!
This wine is full of vitality and features a refreshing effervescence highlighted by yellow and green hues that give it depth. Great mineral notes come from its nose, where you can also detect dried citrus flavors for added complexity.

Best of the big-name champagnes
- Available from Waitrose , Tesco , Sainsburys
Size: 75clABV: 12.5%Star rating: 4/5
That orange label is so ubiquitous that its easy to overlook Veuve Clicquot. This would be a mistake because in the past few years it has become one of the best Grand Marque non vintages around. I loved its lemon sherbert vibrancy, creamy texture and long brioche finish. Absolutely superb and well worth the money, especially if you buy six bottles.
- Available from The Wine Society
This is all about big flavours: brown apples, nuts and spicy notes. If, like me, you love Bollinger champagne but cant afford it, this is the wine for you. The producer, Alfred Gratien, is one of the few houses along with Bollinger that still age their wines in oak.
But What Makes Dom Prignon So Special
Its a Champagne thats fussy in the best way possible, only releasing bottles in the years when its vineyards are of optimum quality and selling on its grapes to other brands when they dont quite make the mark. Its also a vintage Champagne, meaning each bottle of Dom Pérignon contains grapes only from a single year.
And you cant forget that Richard Geoffroy, chef de cave of Dom Pérignon, only releases the wine in vintages that will age more than 20 years. Each bottle is aged for a minimum of seven years, while others are hidden away for much longer. If you come across a bottle with P2 or P3 on the label, its a vintage thats a second or third release, respectively.
Typically, a bottle goes on sale after nine years, before a second wave comes at around 18 years and a third at around 25 years.

These are all excellent Champagnes. It is advisable to check on Top reviews to determine which Champagne is best suited to your taste and will complement what you will be eating.
Look For Sweet Bubbles
To handle chocolate with bubbles, go for something sweet and perhaps pink. Look for Champagne terms such as demi-sec or doux on the label, both referring to sweeter treats. A top pick for demi-sec Champagne is Laurent-Perrier Demi-Sec Champagne.
For true pink Champagne, opt for a non-vintage Nicolas Feuillatte DLuscious Demi-Sec Rose. If you are shooting for bubbles and not limited to only Champagne , then save a few pennies and shoot for sparkling wines from California or Italy to Spain and other French-based regions . Consider the sweet red themes of Italys Banfi Rosa Regale for combining the elements of higher residual sugar and ripe red fruit with white, milk, and dark chocolate options.

Taste Of Diamonds $207 Million
The reason for its unbelievable price tag is due to the fact that it was created for a private client by the luxury designer, Alexander Amosu.
This black bottle comes with an 18-karat white gold tag that weighs 48 grams.
In the center of this tag is a single flawless 19-carat white diamond which definitely added to this bottles exuberant price.
While there were only 10 bottles of the Taste of Diamonds created, the appeal of this champagne doesnt just lie with its overly luxurious bottle.
In fact, it won Best Champagne Taste 2012 by Champagne Business News, meaning it tasted as great as you would hope a bottle at this price point would.
While the Taste of Diamonds is unlikely to ever be made again, you can always hold up hope that at least a single bottle will go up for auction in the future.
However, unless you have a couple of million dollars to spend, youre probably going to be out of luck.
The Best Way To Drink Belaire Champagne
Belaire champagne is richly sweet and smooth. The fruity fragrances make it appealing for those who dont like the typical dry taste of champagne. Chilled in a champagne flute is the most typical approach, yet, you can drink it with ice, as previously mentioned, and fruits go alongside this beverage very well.
Belaire himself prefers these products cold, yet he tried a cocktail with the Rosé. The bartender combined whisky, elderflower, and lemon served with a white chocolate mousse and sprinkled with nutmeg, which he said was the perfect winter drink.
Furthermore, you could make a Kir Royale, where you add a shot of sweet blackcurrant Créme de cassis liqueur, then top it with the sparkling wine.
A classic champagne cocktail might be for you. You make it with a few drops of bitters, a sugar cube, and a lemon twist to make this experience tangy. Or, an excellent old-fashioned mimosa on a Sunday brunch would satisfy.

Pairing With Milk Chocolate
Milk chocolate is by far the more versatile chocolate option for pairing with sparkling wine. Running the gamut from a sparkling Moscato to a bubbly Gewurztraminer, milk chocolate holds higher sugar levels and lower tannins than its dark chocolate cousins making it easier to consume with a wider range of wines.
Have a need to pair caramel and chocolate? A sweet sparkling wine carries the caramel well, showing a delicious palate contrast.

A Brief History Armand De Brignac
Armand de Brignac is a prestige Champagne produced by the Cattier family who has a history as an elite Champagne house in the tiny village of Chigny Les Roses. They have owned and cultivated the family vineyards since 1773.
The original de Brignac name was registered by the Cattier family in the late 1940s. Jean-Jacques recalls that it was chosen by his mother who had been reading a novel featuring a character named de Brignac.
It remained dormant for decades until at the turn of the 21st century the Cartier family began to set aside parcels of reserve wines for a new prestige Champagne Project. The first bottles of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold left the cellars in France in 2006.
The original registered name de Brignac was changed to Armand de Brignac for the new Champagne. This was required by the French Industry Group Comite Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne to avoid confusion with the village of Brignac just outside the Champagne Region.
Industry sources cannot agree whether Jay-Z had a financial stake in Ace of Spades from 2006 when Armand de Brignac Brut Gold was first introduced to the market, but he bought the company outright from Sovereign Brands in 2014. In 2021 he sold a 50% stake to Moet Hennesy the wine and spirits arm of LVMH.
The five Cuvee in the Armand de Brignac use the traditional Champagne grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot MeubRnier.

Pairing With Dark Chocolate
The dry tannin profile of a bittersweet 70 percent or higher dark chocolate may be even more challenging to pair with champagne because of its lack of sweetness. But if you are looking to give it a try, a Brachetto dAcqui or a sparkling Shiraz are good choices both are slightly sweet with a bit of bubble.
