Walmart’s Ros Water Enhancer Has Everyone Talking

You’ve heard the age-old adage: Rosé all day! Well, apparently some fans of the light pink beverage couldn’t wait until cocktail time . Now, Walmart is selling a rosé water enhancer, that, to be clear, is completely non-alcoholic . No need for a bottle opener. This rosé simply requires that you add water and suddenly, your life just got a little happier.

The Great Value product is labeled as a cocktail mixer. Hold the booze. When Instagram user candyhunting shared a of this exciting but slightly confusing product, reactions were mixed . “When you’re an alcoholic trying to drink more water,” one clearly unimpressed user commented. Most commenters bemoaned not being able to find the drink enhancer at their local Walmart store. A search online yields results only for other water enhancers sold under the Great Value umbrella. Could it be that rosé lovers have already bought up the entire supply?

Get Wined Without Getting Wasted

Rosé is the ultimate drink – this we know for certain.

It’s tasty. It’s refreshing. It’s alcoholic, which may not be the most ideal situation if you’re considering having a glass or two with your midweek lunch or pre-work brunch.

Alas, a craving for rosé does not simply disappear.

It cannot be quelled by distraction, confusion, or other drinks that are also wine but don’t taste as good.

Once a need for rosé sets in, it must be addressed. And now, it appears as it though it can be – no matter the occasion… because a rosé flavoured drink enhancer exists to to turn your water into wine.

The aptly named ‘Great Value Rosé Wine Drink Enhancer’ is currently being sold in the Walmarts in the States, giving Americans a solid 24 servings of wine-free wine on the go.

Just think of it like a regular ol’ squash… that for some reason tastes like rosé.

Among its many “water enhancers,” from a raspberry black tea flavor to an electrolyte-spiked fruit punch flavor, store brand Great Value has piloted its most on-trend option yet: “cocktail mixer rosé wine drink enhancer.” This, of course, being a hard-to-parse mix of “natural flavor with other natural flavors” that one drops into plain H2O if they either hate water or simply love rosé. Who, and I can’t emphasize this enough, even asked for this?

According to Delish, the rosé drops were recently spotted by , who posted a photo of them yesterday. But apparently, they’ve actually been around since at least October, along with a “berry sangria” version. And that’s not even the most cursed of it: There now also appears to be “apple cider vinegar limeade” and “apple cider vinegar strawberry pineapple” flavors. None of those flavors are available online yet, however.

I, for one, would still rather have the real stuff.
