EuroCave was the first innovator of wine storage and has been developing wine cabinets and cellar conditioners for ‘maturing’ or ‘serving’ wine for 40 years.
Designer and manufacturer of solutions for maturing, serving and displaying wine, for more than 40 years, EuroCave has been creating products to meet all of your needs.
Our 500 models of wine cabinets, storage systems, cellar conditioners and cigar humidors are manufactured in France, in a small town called Fourmies in Nord, the brand’s historic birthplace. Our products undergo strict testing and are all guaranteed to store your wine in the best possible conditions.
“300,000 customers throughout the world, 30,000,000 bottles stored, the finest wines protected, highly regarded by many sommeliers, inventor of the wine cabinet in 1976, the only name you need to remember for your wine storage needs… EuroCave.”
Professional Wine Cabinets For Long Term Storage
If you want storage conditions for your wine collection that are close to that of natural wine caves or chateau wine vaults then consider buying a EuroCave Wine Cellar which is said to be the best in the category of home wine cellars.
Although today there are a couple of other wine cellar brands that manufacture high-end wine cabinets and cellars that can also compete for the title the worlds best wine cellars, EuroCave was the first company to develop self-contained wine cellars that replicate the conditions existing in a natural cave cellar.
In a Eurocave wine cabinet your wines will be stored at precise temperature and humidity level ensuring longterm preservation and maturing.
The first Eurocave cellar was made in 1976 in France and since then the team of their developers managed to maintain and even increase the qualiy of their legendary wine storage units.
The French company has extended the range of their wine cabinets which are now available in 70 countries.
In the past couple of decades Eurocave came out with something new almost every year, offfering modular storage racks, alarm systems, a wider choice in finishes etc.
EuroCave is an established company that made a name in the world of wine storage appliances with their top-quality wine cellars.
Apart from advanced storage technology, EuroCave wine cellars carry an aura of refined elegance that will look stylish in any home.
Allavino Flexcount 172 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Refrigerator
Allavino FlexCount 172 is all about versatility. The unit has a 172-bottle capacity, it comes with 14 total shelves, and the maximum capacity is only affected by larger bottles such as Champagne or Pinot.
This storage unit is ideal for all wine lovers who look for a more budget-friendly alternative to EuroCave Artevino II.
This electromechanical refrigerator boasts a dual-zone temperature control with an upper zone set between 40°F and 55°F and a lower zone with a temperature range between 55°F and 65°F.
This versatile solution allows you to preserve all wines at 55°F or bring reds and whites to serving temperature as needed.
The only limitation to this is that you cant actually set both zones at the same temperature. The lower zone has to be set at least 4 degrees higher than the upper zone, which is quite limiting. However, you could reach a compromise by storing whites and 53°F and whites at 57°F.
Apart from this, the unit presents itself as a sleek wine cabinet with a stylish all-black interior enhanced by innovative features such as a cool blue LED lighting and built-in versatility.

Why Buy A Bodega Wine Refrigerator
As mentioned briefly above, the company has received a significant number of positive customer reviews and ratings in recent years. As a result, you should buy a Bodega winecooler just for that reason.
The brandâs winecooler selection is also very good value for money, as these units are priced in the middle.

*At the time of publishing, the price was $1,000.
The Wine Enthusiast Classic 70 Dual Zone has a design, dimensions, features, and price that are comparable to those of the Classic 80. But the Classic 70 also has a dividing shelf to create two distinct temperature zones. Although this means sacrificing space for wine storage, it also allows you to set each zone to your preferred serving temperatures .
There isnt a consensus on the best temperature at which to serve different styles of wine. But its generally accepted that white wines are best served at around 45 °F to 55 °F, and red wines at around 54 °F to 65 °F. Optimal serving temperatures may vary according to the type of wine youre drinking, however, so ask your wine shop or the winemaker if you have any questions.
As with the Classic 80, each of the Classic 70s dual zones can be set to temperatures in the 41 °F to 68 °F temperature range, and the Classic 70 has the same ambient temperature operating range of 61 °F to 90 °F. The Classic 70 looks almost identical to the Classic 80, and it has the same sliding, coated-wire-and-wood-finished shelves, touch-screen temperature-control panel, on/off blue LED lighting , bottom wooden display shelf, and lock. It comes with the same warranty and customer service as the Classic 80, tooa one-year warranty, with a three-year warranty on the sealed system parts phone consultations while youre shopping for a fridge and free white-glove delivery service .

Air Flow Control System
A feature that sets EuroCave apart is the innovative air circulation system that ensures a continuous flow from top to bottom, creating a balanced environment for the bottles.
The air flow control also boasts a natural air ventilation system fitted with charcoal filters. This ventilation system is designed to control humidity not by creating it but by preserving it inside the cabinet. As a result, the refrigerator unit can be used indefinitely without developing a bad smell or mold.
A small drawback is that youll have to replace the filters at least once a year. However, the process is simple and the filters are not expensive.

What Type Of Wine Fridges Does Eurocave Manufacture
The company offers a wide range of wine fridges, including freestanding and built-in models. Because of the bottle capacity and required temperature settings, all of the units weâve seen are compressor-powered. A thermoelectric winecooler simply would not be able to hold and properly chill the same number of bottles.
Instead, EuroCave is known for maintaining constant temperature settings, with minimal temperature fluctuations.
All of which vary in bottle capacity, being between 36 and 372 bottles. However, they donât provide many small wine coolers, since they generally focus on manufacturing large-sized wine refrigerators.
All of EuroCaveâs wine fridges have differing visual aesthetics, and this is likely due to the fact that they vary so much in size, materials and price. Everything from classy LED lighting, to soft-close shelves which help to eliminate vibrations. The shelf configuration of each of these units is extremely impressive.
The brand offers single-zone, dual-zone, tri-zone and quad-zone capacity units, making it easy to store different selections of wine within one physical unit. Therefore, you can store your red wine collection in one temperature zone, including your Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, Sangiovese and many more, and then store your white wine collection in another zone, including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Moscato, Viognier and more. The point is, these types of wine fridges are extremely versatile.
How To Go About Building A Wine Cellar
When storing bottles, some people are tempted to install a conventional air conditioner this is discouraged. These air conditioners simply wont keep the cellar cool enough , nor will they manage the humidity or air circulation. When it comes to storing your finest bottles, purpose-built climate control equipment is essential.
Features and benefits of wine cellar conditioners:
- Addresses all conditions needed for ideal cellar performance including temperature and humidity maintenance, vibration absorption and air circulation.
- Manufactured by French brand EuroCave.
- Utilises energy saving and patented technology.
- The quietest climate control solution on the market.
- Can be placed into an existing cellar, or it can be included when designing and building custom wine cellars.
- Available in two sizes to perform in spaces from 10 to 50 cubic metres.
- To install, simply slot into a wall cavity and plug in to a powerpoint.
- Available exclusively from EuroCave Australia.
Please note: When building a wine cellar, it is essential to insulate it. Traditional building materials such as brick, concrete and glass are NOT good insulators. Failure to insulate your custom wine cellar will essentially triple the load on your Inoa Wine Cellar Conditioner.
For information on where to locate the Inoa within the cellar, insulation requirements and technical information, please click on one of the products above. You many also like to visit FAQ under Quick Links on the footer of this website.

Why You Should Trust Us
We spent months researching wine fridges to find out what makes a great fridge, who should get one, and why. To learn about proper wine storage, we spoke with 10 experts across the field: Pascaline Lepeltier, a master sommelier and a managing partner of Racines in New York City Alexander Pandell, a physical chemist Levi Dalton, host and producer of the wine-talk podcast Ill Drink to That! Michele Thomas, sommelier and wine educator Eric Asimov, wine critic at The New York Times Alice Feiring, author of the natural wine newsletter The Feiring Line and several books about wine Lydia Richards, sommelier and founder of Vino Concierge wine chemist Gavin Sacks, professor and associate chair in the Department of Food Science at Cornell University Talia Baiocchi, editor in chief of Punch magazine and Ashley Santoro, the co-owner of Leisir Wine Club.
Unfortunately, we couldnt physically test wine fridges for this guide because our offices have been closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Because of that, we took extra care in poring over editorial reviews and customer feedback to make our recommendations.

How To Arrange Bottles In A Eurocave Wine Cooler
As with all wine coolers, getting a precise bottle count per cabinet is a difficult task! This requires some strategy to maximize all that precious cellar space.
With our two units, I took this approach: I dedicated one cabinet to white wines and all others and the other cabinet to Bordeaux / Napa. In the white + other cabinet, I assigned Riesling bottles to the top half of the cabinet and Burgundy-style bottles to the bottom half of the cabinet. The Bordeaux/Napa cabinet holds fewer bottles due to the nesting ability of Bordeaux style bottles.
Of course, another approach might be warranted for your wine collection. Our suggestion is simply not to mix all the bottles as it will make it difficult to find the bottles you are looking for!
Who Are Eurocaves Wine Coolers Ideal For
EuroCave has a large selection of high-end freestanding and built-in wine coolers with single, dual-zone, triple-zone, and even quad-zone capability. However, because they are extremely large and are generally only suited for a winecellar or commercial environment, units with triple and quad cooling zones are generally considered to be winecellar units.
They also provide a variety of units with varying bottle capacities ranging from 36 to 372 wine bottles. Furthermore, these are Bordeaux bottle designs rather than larger bottles.
As previously stated, EuroCaveâs units are quite expensive, but they are of high quality, so you can rely on them to keep an optimal temperature.
This brand of winefridge is best suited for a serious wine collector, a commercial bar/restaurant, or other environments where the wine collection needs to be safely cooled without the risk of the unit failing or the wine spoiling. Given the price, it might be a little much for a casual wine lover or enthusiast.
As a result, EuroCaveâs target consumer is willing to pay a premium to ensure this, and itâs ideal for someone who falls into one of these two categories.

Does Bodega Offer A Return Policy/warranty
So we hear this question a lot, âWhat is the Bodega return policy?â.
From looking at their warranty information which is described on their FAQs page, it says that the company provide a limited, 1-year warranty.
We always recommend that you read the warranty information to ensure that you are aware of the most recent policy.
Why Buy A Bodega Winefridge From Amazon
Another thing to consider is whether purchasing a Bodega winecooler from Amazon is a better option.
Amazon has become extremely good as they provide great customer service to buyers who use their platform in order to ensure you are satisfied and have a pleasant purchasing experience.
This significantly reduces the likelihood of manufacturers and third-party resellers acting unfairly or unethically, as they are aware that Amazon will not tolerate any wrongdoing and will ban such merchants from operating on the site.
Having said that, you can rest assured that if there are any issues, you will be able to return or refund the winefridge.
Amazon has also worked hard to ensure that its marketplace provides customers with an excellent purchasing experience, allowing them to make purchases quickly and easily. As a result, filtering the best wine refrigerators and purchasing one is a breeze.
Itâs also safe to assume that the vast majority of Americans have an Amazon account. As a result, the general public believes Amazon will protect their personal information and refrain from spamming them. If you buy directly from a wine refrigerator manufacturer or reseller, this might not be the case.

Why Buy A Eurocavewinefridge Specifically From Their Website
Is it a good idea to purchase a wine refrigerator from the manufacturer?
As one might expect, there are numerous advantages to doing so, the most notable of which are as follows:
1) If you deal directly with the manufacturer, you are more likely to receive faster and higher-quality customer care/support, because a third-party seller may not understand the technical aspects of the product and thus would be unable to handle these difficulties without contacting the manufacturer.
2) Purchasing from the manufacturer is frequently less expensive than having purchased from a third-party supplier or marketplace. This is due to the fact that distributors and third-party vendors will add a profit margin to the price.
