It Tastes Like Every Ros Ever And Thats Not A Bad Thing

Ozzy Osbourne: Ordinary Man, Working with Post Malone and Elton John (Part 1) | Apple Music

When I received my bottle of Maison No. 9, my first thought upon seeing the slender glass bottle was whether or not the Olde English font and rosé dagger were hand-picked by Mr. Post Malone himself because they were the same as his tattoos. I ended up trying the rosé on a humid and rainy Saturday afternoon, when I was already in a bad mood and summoned my upstairs neighbor to join me outside for a glass and to talk shit. Her humble review of Postys rosé is succinct and to the point: It tastes like every rosé ever. And thats not a bad thing. His rosé went down smooth a little too smoothly, perhaps, as the two of us sat outside during a full downpour, which turned into a day-drinking session that ended in naps and evening karaoke. So Id like to thank Posty for the perfect summer gossip sesh rosé; he knew wed need it in quarantine. Kerensa Cadenas, senior editor

Proving The Pulling Power Of A Celebrity Owner American Rapper Post Malone Sold 50000 Bottles Of His Southern French Ros During A Two

As reported by TMZ, Malones rosé proved so popular that it crashed the Vivino app on the morning of the sale due to unprecedented demand.

Called Maison No. 9 after the rappers favourite tarot card the nine of swords the pink officially went on sale today and is available to buy in most US states priced at US$21.99 a bottle.

The rosé was created in partnership with the rappers entrepreneur friend, James Morrissey of Global Brand Equities, and;music manager Dre London.

The trio created the wine by working closely with vintner Alexis Cornu of Provence winery group MDCV, with Malone making frequent trips to France while on tour last year.

A 2019 Méditerranée IGP, the pale pink is made from 45% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 15% Syrah and 15% Merlot, and offers notes of ripe pineapple, pear and strawberry, and a clean, dry, crisp finish.

The pink is housed in a tall bottle with an elongated neck and a glass stopper shaped like a castle turret.

Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy. I have been thinking about doing my own wine for a while. It was great to work with Global Brand Equities because they understood the vision. Maison No. 9 goes down smooth, youre all going to love it, Malone said when news of the wine was announced.

According to Forbes, Malone developed an interest in wine after enjoying some knockout bottles from actor Mark Wahlbergs impressive fine wine collection.

Housed in a bottle that could give Post Malones offering a run for its money, our reviewer of the best Côtes de Provence rosé wines was right when they said this wine impresses before youve even got the cork out. A subtle, blushing pink in colour, it is made with a blend of grenache, cinsault, syrah and rolle, and features notes of redcurrant, red berry and orange peel. We recommend enjoying it with lightly spiced French or Italian dishes.

Our reviewer highlighted this rosé from Beronia which, despite its strawberry pink hue, is smooth to taste. Elegant rose petals are present on the nose, followed by sun-kissed strawberries and a touch of peach on the palate. A great summer wine youll find yourself drinking with everything from salads and tapas dishes, through to creamy goats cheese, they said.

Post Malone Debuts New Rosé Wine, Maison No. 9

Having successfully built the brand in the US, American rapper Post Malone has won a nationwide listing at UK Tesco stores for his southern French rosé, Maison No. 9.

In line with the current global thirst for pale pink, bone-dry rosé, Maison No. 9 2020 is a Méditerranée IGP made from 45% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 15% Syrah and 15% Merlot.

On sale from 3 June in Tesco stores across the UK, the 75cl bottle is priced at £19. Larger formats of the rosé are available via the brands website, priced at £44.99 for the magnum and £118.99 for the Jeroboam, with distribution from E&J Gallo.

The rosé was of Global Brand Equities, and music manager Dre London.

The trio created the wine by working closely with vintner Alexis Cornu of Provence winery group MDCV, based close to St. Tropez, with Malone making frequent trips to France while on tour in 2019.

Its name is inspired by Malones favourite tarot card, the Nine of Swords, which represents overcoming challenges.

The wine is housed in a tall bottle with an elongated neck and a glass stopper shaped like a castle turret in a nod to the medieval castle close to the MDCV base.

The pale pink rosé is said to offer aromas of ripe pineapple, pear and strawberry, and has a clean, crisp finish, making it a versatile wine for food.

Wine snobs can look down on those trying to learn about the category, thats not cool, he added. The brand is being marketed as an affordable luxury for everyday celebrations.

Post Malone Has Franzia In The Fridge But Bordeaux Is His Favorite Of All Time

Post Malone is one of the hottest artists on the planet today, and hes also one of the busiest. Three months since his Runaway Tour wrapped in March, raking in more than $95 million, and less than a year since the September 2019 release of his chart-topping album Hollywoods Bleeding, he somehow found time to develop his own rosé brand. Not bad for someone who just celebrated his 25th birthday on July 4.

According to Post, a.k.a. Posty , Maison No. 9 was conceived of during a pre-Grammys dinner conversation in early 2019 with his manager, Dre London, and spirits entrepreneur James Morrissey. The trio found themselves at a vineyard in Provence 10 days later. There, Post helped guide the final blend of Maison No. 9 Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Syrah, and Merlot and he drew up sketches for what would ultimately become the bottle design and label. The No. 9 is a nod to the nine of swords in tarot symbology, which the soft-spoken singer/songwriter/producer has tattooed on the right side of his face.

Like the music hes famous for, Post Malones rosé has earned fast fans. Despite the unseasonably late June debut , within two days of its launch, 50,000 bottles of the label were sold. Now posted up in his own mountainside maison in Park City, Utah, Post assures VinePair he still has plenty of room for his kegs of Bud Light. Below, the Syracuse, N.Y.-born rapper and international superstar shares whats behind the curtain .

E & J Gallo Winery To Handle Distribution Sales Of Maison No 9

Grammy nominated, multi-Platinum recording artist Post Malones French rosé wine, Maison No. 9, is now available online and will be on shelves beginning July 1. Maison No. 9 is a light, high-quality, accessible rosé from Provence, France, that will be available with exclusive distribution and sales support from E. & J. Gallo Winery, Modesto, Calif.

Developed in partnership with friend and entrepreneur James Morrissey of Global Brand Equities, and Dre London, long-time music manager and Founder of London Entertainment, the collaboration is designed to break down the traditional perceptions around wine and its barriers for consumers.

Maison No. 9 was born from an idea to bring together a best-in-class winery with Post Malones love of the Mediterranean lifestyle and rosé, the company says. Morrissey, an Irish-born entrepreneur, introduced Post and Dre to the opportunity first over stories at dinner in Los Angeles, followed by a visit to the vineyard in Provence just days later. Deep-rooted knowledge of the entertainment industry, along with a shared hustle mentality and love of wine, gave the business partners confidence that the venture would succeed, it adds.

Working closely with winemaker Alexis Cornu, the founders spent much of 2019 in-between Posts sold-out tour dates traveling frequently to the winery. They tried many grape varietals and sampled more than 50 blends until they developed a new blend of premium rosé with which they were happy.

The impromptu visit to MDCV Winery meant a frantic re-structuring of plans, security details and logistics in the middle of a European tour, including a last-minute private plane charter from Paris to the south of France. That summer, Post Malone gave Apple Musics Zane Lowe a preview of the wine and taped an interview from the winery; the candid conversation aired Sept. 6, 2019, on the eve of his Hollywoods Bleeding release. Post Malone has launched his own rosé wine in time for the great British summer, called Maison No 9.

The new wine will be available in Tesco supermarkets and independent wine retailers across the UK from 3 June.

Malone, a Grammy Award-nominated artist, collaborated with music manager Dre London and James Morrissey of Global Brand Equities to come up with the pale pink wine, which was perfected by Provence winemaker Alexis Cornu.

The three met before the 61st Grammy Awards in 2019 to discuss a vineyard in the south of France and agreed to create a rosé wine blend that would stand out as their personal favourite.
