Wine Tasting Raleigh Nc

Don't Miss

The Raleigh Wine Shop

Wine tasting near #Raleigh: Hinnant Family Vineyards in Johnston County

The Raleigh Wine Shop brings a unique experience to wine lovers, offering a large selection of premium wines from around the world that they are most proud of.

They are fairly new to the area opening in 2011, but have become a favorite of many wine connoisseurs in the Raleigh region. Besides being a wine shop, they also have wine tastings that they offer free at certain times of the week.

If you already know your favorites, they offer a loading zone in front of their store where they will bring out your wine selections in a matter of minutes. Then, you can rush home to get that wine chilled quicker. I dont think enjoying a glass of wine has ever been easier.

Frequently Asked Questions And Answers

What are people saying about wine tasting classes in Raleigh, NC?

This is a review for wine tasting classes in Raleigh, NC:

“My mom and I came here for a wine tasting class… I’ve been to several wine tastings before and I must say this one had a lot more “educational” material involved than any other. It was nice to have the colorful booklet to look at the wine aroma wheel to help pinpoint the smells and accents in each tasting – that’s the most difficult part. It was nice to hear the sommelier tell of his experience coming from being a researcher to owning this shop… he gave great insight into how they taste, how often they taste, and how they choose their wines. I’m definitely up to come back, just to hang out in their back couch, take a sip from their self-serving tasting machines and chilling out for a bit before walking elsewhere downtown… Love the sake selection too :)”

Fe Wines are some of the hottest new wines we’ve brought into Taylor’s since our last trip to Napa. Fe makes only two terroir-driven bordeaux style blends each vintage. They are limited to what their gorgeous little vineyard offers them each year. Planted on Spring Mountain to Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, winemaker Aaron Pott crafts a simply poetic Cabernet and a silky 26 Blend. Fe is pronounced Fee, named after the Atomic symbol for Iron, found in the soil.

Enjoy an evening of catered heavy hors d’oeuvres, a toast of Champagne followed by an exclusive tasting of Fe’s 2018 and 2019 wines, including their 2019 100 Point Cabernet, in the comfort of a private home.
