- By Barbara Valentine on Oct 13, 2021 We bought a new 2020 Cedar Creek Champagne 38EFK in June of 2020. We have towed it twice and have spent less than 20 days in it. One of the slides has a major delamination problem and the bottom of the slide hanging about 1.5″ below the frame. A bracket weld broke off next to the tires as we were driving. We feel fortunate the tire wasn’t popped. All the wiring in the same area was dragging on the tire and now it has to be re-wired! FOREST RIVER WARRANTY DEPARTMENT has been a nightmare to say the least!! Our trailer has been sitting in the shop since AUG 1 due to Forest River not wanting to authorize the work that needs to be done to fix their horrible quality control problems!
