Join us on Saturday, June 18th, 2022 for an exciting new event that features the amazing scenery and landscape of Adam Putchta Winery! Located about 1hr from St Louis and 3 Hours East of Kansas City, the winery is a centrally located great destination well worth the trip whether it is a short drive or a weekend getaway! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing. Results will be posted at www.J3Timing.com.

How It Works:
1) When registering, create a Team Name for your group. Create a password
2) Tell all your friends to sign up for the race!
3) When your Team hits 5 participants, the first 4 people will get $5 CASH BACK and the 5th will receive a $5 discount on their race fee!
4) For a team of 10, every new team member gets $5 discount on their race fee and the team leader will receive 1 bottle of wine at the specified winery.
5) For a team of 20, every new team member gets $5 discount on their race fee and the team leader will receive a total of 5 bottles of wine at the specific winery.
This is a very hilly and challenging cross country course. Participants are awarded an incredible view of the bluffs and surrounding Missouri scenery on the course as well as some wooded area and trails. The course is definitely suitable for both walkers and runners, but we do not encourage strollers on the course.

The Hermann Community Food Pantry serves the residents of the Gasconade County R-I School District. The Food Pantry also runs a school Backpack Program.
Awards: All participants receive a sweet finisher medal and a glass of wine, so there are no age group awards at this race, but we will have live results broken down into overall and age group format for you to view.

Adam Puchta Homestead Guesthaus
Nestled along a winding tree lined road adjacent to Frene Creek, sits the original stone haus of John Henry Puchta, Adam Puchtas father. The stone haus was built in the early 1840s. My Favorite Of All Missouri Wines
I love Adam Puchta!! Reifenstahler, Adam’s Choice, Cat’s Meow, and JazzBerry are the one’s my boyfriend and I love to share. But I also love the Ports and the Sweet and Dry Vignoles!I always love how they do wine pairings to show you how the taste of the wine can change depending on what you eat with it. But also how chilling the wine has an affect. I’ve had the best learning experiences about wine at Adam Puchta! I can’t go to Hermann without stopping in here and I always buy more than I need to.I guess I should say they do charge for wine tasting, but considering that you get a really great pairing tasting it is worth it!

We went here on a summer Saturday. They had a band playing on the porch, which was fun. But when you go to a winery, you want good wine. And this place came up WAY short. If you like farm wine, this is the place. If not…And with a summer Saturday, the place was pretty full, so the wine pouring seemed really perfunctory. No time to talk about the wines- just pour and drink and move on. Way on.

Why Are There So Many Wineries In Missouri
The Missouri River Valley saw wineries and vineyards started by German immigrants. Germans settled Hermann, Missouri, in 1837. There it was easy for grapes to grow for wine due to ideal growing conditions. In a survey by Charles Riley, an entomologist with the Missouri Department of Agriculture, American rootstocks seemed to be pests resistant.

You can visit the winery and sample their offerings 7 days a week year-round .
