Youve got to have grit.
Our 2019 True Grit Cabernet Sauvignon is notably juicy! It opens up with flavors of current and dark cherry followed by subtle olive tapenade. Its structure is supported by a solid yet round tannin profile and a lingering vanilla bean finish.

This is the eighth vintage of our To Kalon Vineyard-designated Reserve. Each year our blend reflects the First Growth quality of this singular vineyard. The Reserve is blended from the finest blocks within the To Kalon Vineyard, and meticulously crafted by keeping each block or sub-block separate through fermentation and aging, until we create the blend the following year.
The wine is deep, vivacious, juicy, and flows beautifully from start to finish. Very enjoyable now, but with a long future ahead.

Sweet, juicy, and utterly delicious. Loaded withCHERRY JOLLY RANCHER? Luxardo cherries? Strawberry licorice? Its all in there. Maybe some grenadine, too. YUP. Rich and round, mouthcoating layers of dark red cherry liqueur, raspberry jam, cocoa dust, and vanilla cola swell from the glass. A total face-ripper thats a blast to drink without a care in the world. Its not a bruiser or an uber concentrated style Cabernet. More of a medium-bodied tipple but still percolating with all sorts of deliciousness. Simply put, if you like ripe, red fruit in your glass this is the one.
Wine Enthusiast points out that Parducci continues to make remarkably good wines at fair prices out of its sustainably farmed, carbon-neutral Mendocino outpost which is the wild west of California wine country and Parducci is one of the oldest wineries around for 3 generations the Thornhills have been there, making great wines, and taking great care in a sustainable way that cares for the land.
