Smells Good Not That Moisturizing
The Victoria Secret Strawberries and Champagne body lotion is some what of a decieving product as it does help moisturize your body for the first hour or so but after a while it does wear off causing your skin to feel that it requires more moisturizer. Another negative to this product along the same lines is that it does not work well in the cold weather where you skin tends to dry up faster requiring you to utilize this product more then you normally would which at times can be of a nuisance. The smell is amazing and is strong especially after applying directly to skin after a warm shower. I do believe the product contains some sort of alcohol which causes the skin to dry up faster then body lotions would dry up. If they figured out a way to allow the lotion to stay moisturized on the skin for at least 12 hours while still keeping the strong scent I would then definetly recommend this product to a friend.

I have long loved the smell of Victoria’s Secret Strawberries and Champagne line–it definitely has a fruity scent, but the champagne aspect balances it and keeps it from smelling too drug-store brand-y. Victoria’s Secret body lotions have an incredibly thick and luxuriant texture, which is why they come in squeeze tubes. The texture is comparable to Bath and Body Works’s Body Creams. A little of this stuff goes a long way, which makes it ideal for large skin surface areas, such as legs. I find if I just squeeze some out for use on my hands, it is hard to rub it all in because of how thick it is, so it’s best for body use. Victoria’s Secret beauty products are definitely on the pricey side, but they make nice gifts. If you watch for sales or subscribe to their mailing list for coupons, you can generally get them for up to 40% off. If you haven’t already, try out this scent–you will love it!

I have been using the Victorias Secret Strawberries and Champagne Hand and Body Cream for two weeks now. Since I have dry-combination skin in winters, I really need that extra dose of moisturization and if the moisturizer has a good fragrance, then its a win win situation
To begin with, this cream has a soft and buttery consistency. It simply melts into the skin, without being greasy at all. A little goes a long way and you realize that this body cream is exactly what it claims its a rich indulgent cream which leaves the skin really soft. There is no need for frequent reapplication. I was skeptical initially, as strawberry fragrances generally tend to be too sweet for my liking, but I was pleasantly surprised! The champagne factor just totally mellows it down, so you dont end up smelling like fruit jam! The fragrance is not too strong or alcohol like. Its a simple, nice clean scent which lingers for the entire day. The packaging is sturdy and since it comes in a tube form, it is very convenient to use and is hygienic.

It has goodness of aloe, oat, apple and grape seed oil. Consistency wise its not very thick neither very runny, and it gets absorbed in skin easily without making it feel greasy.
If talking about the smell, it has fruity + floral smell. Where fruity smell is more dominating, its a great mix of sweet + citrusy smell. So people who like citrusy smell or sweet fruity smell both will like it. The fragrance lasts for good 3-4 hours on skin, and as smell settles down it smells more flowery then fruity. If the body wash, lotion and mist all are used from same range then the smell lasts all day long. This gift set comes in a nice hand bag so a great option for gifting.
