How Long Does Red Wine Last

Once opened and re-corked, a bottle stored in a cool, dark environment will stay fresh and nicely drinkable for a day or two. There are products available that can extend that period by a couple of days.As for unopened bottles, optimal storage means keeping them on their sides in a moderately humid environment at about 57° F. Red wines stored in this manner will stay good and possibly improve for anywhere from one year to multiple decades. Assessing how long to hold on to a bottle is a complicated science. If you are planning long-term storage of your reds, seek the advice of a wine professional.

What Is The Famous Wine Region Featured In The Movie Sideways

Enate Cabernet Sauvignon

Thats Santa Barbara.

The greatest attribute of Sideways is that it promoted Pinot Noir, which became very popular because of the movie.

The region of Santa Barbara offers a great variety of unique tasting options with over 120 different wineries to choose from. This region is off-the-beaten-track, but should not be underestimated. Sideways drew much-needed attention to this region and all that it has to offer.

About Serial Wines

How To Serve Red Wine

A common piece of advice is to serve red wine at room temperature, but this suggestion is imprecise. After all, room temperature in January is likely to be quite different than in August, even considering the possible effect of central heating and air conditioning systems. The proper temperature to aim for is 55° F to 60° F for lighter-bodied reds and 60° F to 65° F for fuller-bodied wines.

Where In California Is The Wine Country

The Californian wine country is in the North San Francisco Bay area, with over 800 wineries located all along this scenic route. The Bay area encompasses some of the world’s most famous wine regions, including Napa Valley and Sonoma.

The success of these famous regions within the Bay area is largely to do with the sound soil composition and ideal climatic conditions. Each region is fortunate to have a wide range of temperatures and soil types, allowing the brilliant variety of grapes to thrive here.

தாமர௠– THAMARAI – EPISODE 910 13-11-2017

$29.99

Rich and sophisticated, redcurrant and black cherry aromatics flirt with cedar and leather showcasing this opulent wine. Decadent flavors of plum, fig and chocolate-covered blueberries provide a big, fruit-driven core. Serial Cabernet Sauvignon is silky smooth and finishes elegantly on notes of ripe cherries and wild berries.

Serial comes from the idea that we will be producing a series of wines from Paso Robles. As a Napa Valley vintner I chose Paso Robles for its climate and soils, producing outstanding fruit at approachable pricing. Serial wines are rich and opulent, like the wines for which we have become known. John Anthony Truchard
