Our first floor main dining room is available for larger seated events for up to 50 guests, or standing receptions for up to 100 guests, on select dates. Sonoma also has the unique ability to combine our two second floor event spaces into a single space with capacity up to 150 guests for a standing reception. And for very large groups, Sonoma Restaurant is available for a first and second floor full restaurant buy out which can hold up to 250 guests for a standing cocktail reception, wedding, media event, or fundraiser.

River Road Family Vineyards is a collection of uncomplicated California-appellated wines from Sonoma County winemaker Ron Rubin. Designed with affordability in mind, the wines span the range of Californias wine styles. Today we look exclusively at a trio of chardonnays, made in three different styles, and all well under $20.
2020 River Road Un-Oaked Chardonnay California Brightly fruity, almost sweet at times, with unusual tropical notes that run to guava and papaya, layered atop a baked apple core. Altogether its a bit doughy with some pastry cream elements lingering on the finish, though here a citrusy sweetness and a sharper gooseberry note both also linger. B / $15
2020 River Road Un-Oaked Chardonnay Reserve Sur Lie Aged California Aged on the lees, this is quite a more powerful expression of chardonnay, plump with notes of vanilla and brighter, but still baked, apple fruit. It still has the same tart stone fruit, hints of tropical fruit, and a coconut-like gooseberry note on the back end, but the body is considerably fuller and creamier, with a lengthy, fruit-forward finish. B+ / $17

Russian River, Sonoma, CA- Winemaker Ed Morris has put together another seamless gem with this affordable boutique wine. Vibrant, with a hint of vanilla and bright fresh pear flavors in a full-bodied format, with a long clean finish. Perfect with broiled pork chops.
The Russian River Valley extends just south of the town of Healdsburg to the San Pablo Bay in the west. It has the coolest climate of all the regions in because of the fog traveling up the Russian River from the ocean. The climate makes the Russian River Valley prime and country. Both grape varieties thrive here with a lush, rich intensity of fruit flavors rarely found in other places. The cooler climate creates the ideal conditions to produce Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with more intense forward fruit, lovely crispness and acidity with great balance and length. This Russian River Valley appellation is truly one of the shining stars of Sonoma.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of quince, green apple, lemon peel, bosc pear and blossom with just a hint of vanilla.
On the palate the dry, medium-to-medium-plus-bodied chardonnay has medium flavor intensity.
The wine has some creaminess of texture with mid-palate complexity and completing with a medium finish.
