Food And Wine Festival Florida Blue Lounge
Located in the Restaurant Marrakesh restaurant in World Showcase Morocco, the Florida Blue Lounge is a place open to all. Offering up free self-service tap water, cold brew coffee, and Moroccan mint tea, you can simply take a seat at the table to relax. At this point, the Snack Cart comes around. A very want anything from the trolley, dears vibe gets you access to carrots, yogurt, hummus and carrots, babybel cheese, and more. Guests can also get a free cooling towel upon entering, while supplies last. Frankly, this is such a nice perk for free snacks and air conditioning that we just had to share its existence! You will need to sign up ahead of time to visit or scan the QR code on the sign outside the restaurant, to sign up and enter. The Florida Blue Lounge at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is open from September 3, 2022, through November 19, 2022, from 12 pm-6 pm daily.

Spaceship Earth Beauty And The Beast Sequence
With the installation of the Points of Light on Spaceship Earth, it is common for there to be special sequences incorporated into the festivals.
For the Food and Wine Festival, youll be able to see a special Beauty and the Beast themed sequence. It happens nightly and alternates with the Beacons of Magic.
Heres how Disney describes it:
Inspired by the vibrant colors and strong movement in the 1991 Walt Disney Animation Studios classic, Beauty and the Beast, and infused both into the programming of the show. Be on the lookout for some fun subtle easter eggs such as rising champagne bubbles and the multicolor spotlights from the finale of the song, plus a special tri-color celebration to France, the setting and inspiration of this tale as old as time.

‘eat To The Beat’ Concert Series
Festival visitors can see some seriously big-name bands no concert ticket needed three times a night at the America Gardens Theatre. Catch performances from acts like Air Supply, Boyz II Men, Hanson, 38 Special and Billy Ocean every night of the festival at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Check the schedule in advance to make sure you dont miss your favorite.
Stand-by seating is typically available, but if you have your heart set on great seats to see your favorite band, “Eat to the Beat” dining packages are available at six different Epcot restaurants. For a set price that varies by restaurant, youll get an appetizer, entree and dessert and nonalcoholic beverage, plus a guaranteed seat for the concert.

Book Your Food And Wine Festival Vacation Package In Advance
Book your Walt Disney World vacation package as far in advance as you can. If possible, 6 months or more ahead of when you want to go is optimal.
Not only is the Epcot Food and Wine Festival super popular, booking early will get you the best deal and resort of choice.
In 2022, the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival runs from July 14 through November 19. So booking somewhere between mid-January to May is best.
That said, its not impossible to still get a good room and dining reservations if you book less than 6 months ahead. Just harder to pull off!
I highly recommend staying at Disneys Yacht Club Resort or Beach Club Resort, as they are the closest resorts to Epcot.
You can literally walk to Epcot from both resorts, which will be great after a day of stuffing yourself silly with delicious food.
And lets be honest, probably an adult beverage or 2.
Disneys Riviera Resort and Caribbean Beach Resort are also nearby. While they are not walkable, you can take the Skyliner to Epcot and enjoy aerial views along the way.

Impossible Meatballs At Earth Eats
Get ready folks Disney didnt have to go THIS HARD on the Earth Eats booth, but it did and we are SO happy! The NEW Impossible Meatballs were an easy pick for the Best of the Fest this year. They come with Herbed Polenta, Rustic Puttanesca Sauce, and Basil Pesto and are priced at $5.75.
Yum!
The meatballs were incredibly tasty, even for our reporters who regularly eat meat. While you can tell that it is IMPOSSIBLE meat , the basil pesto sauce was AWESOME, and the polenta was delicious . There were some big flavors in this dish and we really enjoyed them!
Dandan Noodles At China
Its time to kick up the spice to this best eats list! And while The Noodle Exchange would have been my go-to Global Marketplace for something spicy, this year Ill have to wait until August to get my Spicy Vietnamese Beef Pho. So as a surprising addition to my best eats list, the all-new Dandan Noodles at China has joined as the dish that packs a huge PUNCH of flavor in a bite. Spicy pork with Sichuan Sauce, Peanut Butter, Sesame and Green Onion sit on top of a heaping portion of Dandan noodles for one heck of a hearty and spicy dish!
Trust me when I say that spicy food lovers will definitely NEED to have this dish, at only $8.25.

Simple and satisfying the Belgian Waffle with Warm Chocolate Ganache is a returning item that we just had to point out as a good choice for kiddos!

The waffle was nice and soft, really tender, moist, and not overcooked. The whipped cream and the chocolate sauce melted FAST, but we think it could still be a great pick for little ones wanting a sweet treat!
Once Again Staying At The Rosen
We have stayed at this hotel literally 15-20 different times from away back when it was the Rodeway and our last trip being in November 2019. It is a great hotel for couples, families, whatever. The staff are great, it is clean and any rooms we have stayed in lead onto an indoor corridor providing extra security. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and have booked my flights for returning to International Drive in November 2020 and will probably stay in the Rosen International.

Spicy Salmon Donburi Japan Booth $750
Rain Blanken, Editorial Director: So spicy! If you love a bit of spice, this little poke bowl is a must-eat at the fest! Some spicy salmon concoctions elsewhere arent quite spicy enough, but this dish had a zing I just wasnt ready for! The rice was just the right amount of vinegary goodness, and there were lots of chunks of salmon. Its a meal for one, but might just fill you up!

Kenyan Coffee Beef Tenderloin
The Kenyan Coffee Beef Tenderloin has been featured at the Kenya marketplace for a few years now, and even though weve liked it in years past, we didnt like it at all this year.
The meat was dry and overcooked and pretty much void of any flavor. Honestly, there was no actual coffee flavor even though its prominently advertised. I guess the piece of meat was large which makes it a decent value, but the flavor just wasnt there.
One thing that might be affecting the Kenya booth is that there are hardly any people ever in line there so we think the dishes get prepared ahead of time and just end up sitting there for a while. Its possible this could be a lot better if they just cooked it better, so well keep an eye on it as maybe it was the fault of the chef on duty when we tried it.
